Sports World Center 7v7 Soccer Rules

Rules: FIFA unless modified

-7 v 7 (6 field, keeper)

-Two 25 minute halves with a 2 minute half time

-No GK punts or drop kicks

-Yellow and Red cards only, no timed penalties

-2 yard space on throw-ins

Indirect Kicks

• If ball hits ceiling, place ball were it hit with an IDFK
• There is no IDFK inside penalty area. Ball is placed at the top of the penalty area on the line.
• Goal kicks
• Throw-ins

Direct Kicks

• Kick off
• Any foul

CHANGES from Previous Years

-There is NO slide tackling allowed. Players may, however, slide in order to save a ball from crossing the goal line or going out of bounds

-Scoring inside the goal box is allowed

-GK CAN throw and kick goal kicks over the midfield line

-No cleats are allowed on “Turf #2”.

-No Earrings are allowed.

-5 yard space on free kicks

-Substitutions allowed on EITHER team's throwings, goal kicks, and corner kicks.

SUBSTITUTIONS

Substitutions can be made on all stopages except for Free Kicks upon referees acknowlegement.

PLAYOFFS

Playoffs will be decided by end of the regular season standings.

Tie-breakers are as follows.

1. Head to Head
2. Least goals against
3. Coin Toss

PENALTY KICKS

For U-10’s: PK’s will be taken from the penalty spot. Player is allowed to take as many steps as they’d like.

For U-12’s and Up: PK’s will be taken from the top of the blue lacrosse circle. Player may take as many steps as they’d like.
